French Picnic

Regular price $273.00 $0.00

Scrumptious, tasty delights waiting to be unveiled in platter style, either outdoors in the light autumn breeze or even by the fireside. Wine, Smoked Salmon, Scallop Mousse, Antipasto and Cheese and Crackers.  Yum! Don’t wait for the perfect occasion – the time is now!

Matakana Smokehouse is a small boutique smokehouse just out of Matakana Village where they use only the best, sustainably farmed and caught products alongside longstanding smoking traditions. Using a Manuka woodchip blend with a secret touch ensures a rather unique flavour to the Akaroa Salmon.

Award Winning Akarua is the largest privately owned single-estate vineyard in Central Otago, with 50 hectares of stunning vineyard. First planted in 1996 by Sir Clifford Skeggs. The Akarua team are focused on managing the quality of the fruit in the vineyard through to winemaking in their winery; giving them complete control from vineyard through to bottle. Bannockburn, the sub region in Central Otago where Akarua is located has been described as the 'jewel in Central Otago's crown'.  Akarua’s Pinot Gris is well-structured with a richness and poise that typifies Pinot Gris. Their Chardonnay citrus and stone fruit flavours are enhanced with delicate oak and honey characters.
