Finished with a FSC hardwood handle, this trowel is carefully shaped to fit satisfyingly into the gripped hand.

The palms and fingers are made from hardwearing yet ultra-soft fabric that doesn’t go stiff if it gets wet. Stretch mesh between the fingers helps regulate hand temperature and improves dexterity. The outer shell is created in a heavyweight ticking fabric, which gives great flexibility of movement.  The ticking stripe design is a country house classic, but stripes are always in fashion, so these gloves have a crisply contemporary look. And to keep them looking smart, the gloves are machine washable at 30°C.

The Frenchman showed her how to use the elderflower, which was abundant and in full flower at that time. Together they turned the elderflower into a delicious drink which the whole family enjoyed.
